Knobby tires and a few timbers in the back make a big difference! For the record: this is a RWD V6 Ram 1500 regular bed, running 265/70/16s with the Kumho AT52s on the rear. I’m super impressed with Kumho’s reliability, the ones on the front are four years old, they’ve still got half tread. Thinking to return to the stock size, I put some Firestone destination LE3s on the back only to have them go basically bald in no time. There’s more to the story but I’ll leave it at that.
It is the end of a chapter, and I thought it appropriate to show the same scene as when I first posted a picture to this account. It has changed quite a bit. And a lot more is changing. And if you’d like to know the story, check out the growingracegardens.com homepage. Otherwise, I’m excited to hopefully (if I find time to) share a bit about where the journey goes from here. Farm on folks!
Swipe to see the sunflowers grow!! ~> Ok, and I must explain, the weeds have almost completely taken over this year! I sincerely would not have allowed it, except there’s been some life changes with me and people in my (the Farmer’s) life, which has taken nearly all my time away from it. But I haven’t lost sight of the dream. Not at all. And the tomato plants (in both those tunnels) are just bursting!
This puppy is about 10 1/2, the best groundhog hunter (since Farmer Sean is not even on the chart), and always somehow a best friend. It’s Meadow!
We’ve got flower bouquets available now from a local gardener and friends of mine, anytime on the online market!
My brother Josh put together some drone footage from last year and I’ll have to say, it turned out great! As a way of reminder folks, CSA starts next month!
